Edward O. Eberle CFA
Partner, Portfolio Manager
Ed Eberle joined Seizert Capital Partners in 2000. Ed is a Partner in the firm and a Portfolio Manager.
Prior to Seizert, Ed was the Executive Vice President of Alternative Investments and Portfolio Manager for Valenti Capital and was also President of Valenti Advisors. Munder Capital Management employed Ed from 1995 through 1999 as a Portfolio Manager and Co-Manager of the Value Fund and Small-Cap Value Fund. From 1990 to 1995, he worked for Westpointe Financial Corp. and various Dart Energy interests, managing domestic and international equities and fixed-income securities.
Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is also a member of the CFA Society Detroit and the CFA Society Phoenix.
David J. Collon
Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager
David Collon joined Seizert Capital Partners as a Portfolio Manager in October 2004. He became Managing Partner in February 2018 and continues his responsibilities as a Portfolio Manager.
From May 2000 until joining Seizert Capital Partners, David had been employed with Jay A. Fishman, Ltd., as a Portfolio Manager and research analyst. He also served as a Vice President of Institutional Sales with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., an investment-banking firm in Washington, D.C., for a period of three years.
David received his Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University with a concentration in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in finance from Lake Forest College. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and is a member of the investment committee for CATCH, which is a children’s charity founded in 1987 by then Detroit Tigers manager Sparky Anderson.
Thomas P. Kenny CFA
Partner, Portfolio Manager
Tom Kenny joined Seizert Capital Partners in April 2011 and is a Partner and Portfolio Manager.
Prior to joining Seizert, Tom was a Director, Senior Investment Manager and Senior Portfolio Manager for Munder Capital Management. While at Munder, he served as Co-Manager of several Munder Capital Management strategies in addition to serving as Director of Institutional and Taft-Hartley Investment Services. Prior to Munder, he held positions at Woodbridge Capital Management, where he served first as a Portfolio Analyst and then Portfolio Manager, and at Manufacturers Bank from 1989 to 1993 as a Senior Trust Analyst.
Tom received a B.S. from the University of Detroit with an emphasis in economics, and received his MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the CFA Society Detroit. In addition, he serves on the Finance Committee Investment Committee for the Archdiocese of Detroit and on the Advisory Board for the PIME missionary order.
Andrew M. Jones
Portfolio Manager
Andy Jones joined Seizert Capital Partners as an Investment Analyst in September 2009 and became a Portfolio Manager in June 2012.
From August 2008 until joining Seizert Capital Partners, Andy had been employed with Wells Fargo Advisors as a financial advisor in East Lansing, MI. Andy also served as a financial analyst for GMAC Financial Services from April 2007 through August 2008 in Detroit, MI. Prior to joining GMAC, Andy was employed by Douglas C. Lane and Associates, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm, located in New York City for a period of three years.
Andy received a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Economics from Bucknell University in 2004. He serves as Secretary/Treasurer and is a member of the Audit Committee for the SME Education Foundation based in Southfield, Michigan.
Darin A. Young
Portfolio Manager
Darin Young started as an intern with Seizert Capital Partners in September 2013, joined as an Investment Analyst in July 2014, and became a Portfolio Manager in June 2016.
Prior to joining Seizert Capital Partners, Darin was an Investment Analyst Intern with American Century Investments in Kansas City, MO. During business school, he was a Portfolio Manager at the Cayuga Fund and Co-President of the Investment Management Club. Before school, Darin worked in investment banking and performed business valuations at Duff & Phelps and Ernst & Young/EY Capital Advisors in Novi and Detroit, MI respectively.
Darin received his Masters in Business Administration from The Johnson School at Cornell University with a concentration in Capital Markets and Asset Management. He also received his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University with an emphasis in Finance. He currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the student-managed investment fund of the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University.
Daniel A. Nye III
Portfolio Manager
Dan Nye joined Seizert Capital Partners as an Equity Trader and Analyst in January 2013. In January 2017, Dan became a Portfolio Manager.
Prior to joining Seizert, Dan had been an Equity Trader and Analyst at NorthPointe Capital LLC in Troy, Michigan for the prior 4+ years. There he worked with both quantitative and fundamental areas of investments.
Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2008.

Clare A. Pauck
Equity Trader and Analyst
Clare Pauck joined Seizert Capital Partners in May 2019 as an Equity Trader and Analyst.
Prior to joining Seizert Capital Partners, Clare interned at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for two summers as the advanced analytics and product development Intern in the Individual Business Unit.
Clare earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from Central Michigan University in 2019. While in school, Clare was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, a women’s sorority that focused on domestic violence awareness and education, as well as community involvement. Additionally, Clare was a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, a co-ed actuarial science and risk management fraternity.

John V. Van Gorder
Director - Client Relations
John joined Seizert Capital Partners as a Client Services Manager in January 2008 to help service the firm’s Municipal and Taft-Hartley relationships.
Prior to joining Seizert, John spent the previous 34 years as a police officer in Birmingham, Michigan. He started as a patrol officer in 1973 and retired as Investigative Commander. He was appointed, then elected, to the Birmingham Retirement System as a Trustee as the police representative, and served in that capacity from January 1999 to July 2007. He also served as Chairman of the Birmingham Retirement Board from July 2005 to July 2007.
Christopher S. Heatley
Director - Client Relations
Chris Heatley joined Seizert Capital Partners in September 2009 as a Client Service and Marketing Manager.
Prior to joining Seizert, Chris served as a police officer in Ann Arbor, Michigan for over 23 years retiring as a Detective Lieutenant. He served 9 years as a trustee on the City of Ann Arbor’s Pension Board holding positions as both Chair of the Board and Chair of the Investment Committee.
In addition, Chris served for three years on the Executive Board for MAPERS (Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems) and the last year as Vice President. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science in Liberal Studies degree from Eastern Michigan University.
J.T. Trevino
Director - Client Relations
J.T. joined Seizert Capital Partners in August 2021 as Director – Client Relations.
Prior to joining Seizert Capital Partners J.T. served as a firefighter/paramedic for over 32 years with the San Antonio Fire Department. J.T., over a span of 11 years with The San Antonio Fire and Police Pension Fund (SAFPPF), served as Secretary, Vice Chairman and for the final four years of his tenure as Chairman of the Board. Within the SAFPPF, he has served on the Investment Committee, Chairman Personnel/Audit Committee, Chairman Disability Committee and Chairman of the Property Holding Corporation.
He served as a trustee for 17 years and treasurer for 2 years with the San Antonio Professional Fire Fighters Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix, an Associate Degree in Applied Science from San Antonio College and participated in an executive education course called Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management through The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Cheryl A. Kotlarz
Chief Compliance Officer
Cheryl Kotlarz joined Seizert Capital Partners in April 2011 as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer.
From May 1997 until she joined Seizert, Cheryl had been employed with Sigma Investment Counselors as Chief Compliance Officer and Fixed Income Manager. Between 1993 and 1997, Cheryl was the Compliance Manager and Head Trader for Zaske, Sarafa and Associates. She started her career in 1990 with Acorn Asset Management as a Portfolio Administrator and Trader.
Cheryl earned her B.S. in finance from Oakland University. She is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals.
Sherry A. Burson
Operations Manager
Sherry joined Seizert Capital Partners in 2000. Sherry is the firm’s Operations Manager.
From 1996 until joining Seizert Capital Partners, Sherry was employed with Munder Capital Management as a Portfolio Administrator. Prior to joining Munder, she was employed with Loomis Sayles & Company from 1985 through 1995 where she served as Officer Manager and Portfolio Administrator.
Sherry received her Associates degree in Applied Science with an emphasis in Accounting from Macomb College in 1989. She has also had various accounting and finance classes at Walsh College.
Jean Cherry
Marketing and Compliance Administrator
Ms. Cherry joined Seizert Capital Partners in January 2001. She serves as Marketing and Compliance Administrator.
From February 1998 until December 2000, Ms. Cherry was employed by Loomis, Sayles & Co. as a Portfolio Assistant for high net worth clients.
Prior to joining Loomis, Sayles & Co. Ms. Cherry was employed by Steward Capital from 1993 until 1998 and served as an Administrative Assistant.
Julie Glazier
Portfolio & Marketing Administrator
Julie joined Seizert Capital Partners in August of 2010. She is employed as a Portfolio & Marketing Administrator.
Prior to joining Seizert Capital Partners she was a stay at home mother of two daughters, Jennifer and Mallory. Julie is an active volunteer in the community and with the American Cancer Society. Previously she was a Recreation Supervisor Level I for the City of White Plains, New York.
Julie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Ohio University in 1982. She also received her Master of Science degree in Sports Administration in 1983.
Wendy J. Kunze
Portfolio Administrator
Wendy joined Seizert Capital Partners in April 2015. She serves as a Portfolio Administrator.
From November 1995 to April 2015, Wendy was employed by Munder Capital Management (acquired by Victory Capital Management, October 2014). She served as an Account Administrator from 1995 to 1999. She began overseeing all account administrators at the firm as Manager of Account Administration in 1999.
Wendy received an Associates Degree in Business from St. Clair County Community College and has attended Walsh College.
Jack Bartoluzzi
Data Systems Engineer
Jack joined Seizert Capital Partners as a Quantitative Analyst intern May 2019 and was promoted to a Data Systems Engineer in June of 2020. Jack returned to SCP in August of 2024 after a summer internship with Stout as a Complex Securities & Financial Instruments Intern.
Jack graduated Cum Laude in 2019 from Michigan State University earning his B.A. in Economics with a dual minor in Computational Math, Science & Engineering (CMSE) and International Development. While in school he was a Teaching Assistant for CMSE 201 and the Treasurer of Spartan Global Development Fund a non-profit that raises money and makes loans to developing countries small businesses. During his time at MSU, Jack interned at Hunter Pasteur, a real estate development firm located in southeast Michigan.
